Thanksgiving
together is a time to rejoice
Enjoying
our freedom and religion of choice.
Bowing
our heads in moments of prayer
Being
thankful to God, our families are there.
To
live in a country, how lucky are we
A
place that is known as the "Land of the Free"

Below,
I would like to share with you an email I received that sums up
"Being Thankful". I was so touched by this email, I
asked for permission to use it on my web page, that each of us
may take this time to remember ALL of the things we need to be
thankful for. Thank you my dear friend, Dorsey Wellborn!!!

Hello
Dear Friend!
I
just wanted to take a few minutes to say hello which I
have done, but also to thank you for the lovely pages
you have sent. Thanksgiving is upon us and I'm sure many
people will not be feeling very thankful. I wish I could
reach out to each of then and point out how much we
still have to be thankful for, to lose someone is
terrible but we can go to a church or read our bible,
for most of us, we have homes, food and all the things
we take for granted that other people through out the
world have never had and most likely would not know what
some of them were. I watch a good bit of TV because of
my health and I see places like Kenya, Afghanistan, all
the third world countries where people starve on a daily
basis. I thank God everyday that I was blessed to live
in this land where, while ill, I can still have a TV to
watch, a computer to send good wishes to my friends like
you in an instant anywhere they are, I thank Him for the
food I will have to eat Thursday, Turkey to my hearts
content, but most of all, I thank God for the privilege
of having a Bible lying beside me on my bed to read
without persecution. May God bless you, Ruth Ann and may
His light shine on you and the one's you love and care
for throughout this Holiday season and the coming New
Year...
My
Love and Prayers to you always....
Dorsey!
