Between You and Me, Lord

Lord, I come to you

In such a humble way.

Please forgive my faults

Keep me from going astray.

Between You and me Lord,

I come to You in prayer,

For there are days I stumble

And my soul to You, I bear.

Forgive me of my anger

When I feel I can’t go on.

Please take away my weakness

Replace it to be strong.

When I feel depressed

And all I do is weep,

Please give me all the faith

For me to hold and keep.

Between You, and me Lord,

Let my faith be ever so strong,

Instead of me whining,

Fill my heart with song.

For I know You are there Lord,

To help me one day at a time

And always with Your help,

This mountain I will climb.
