Some
days are awful and stormy
And
we wish to see the sun
The
world weighs on our shoulders
And
sometimes we want to run.
Days
come we feel so empty,
With
nothing to look forward to.
But
don't cry out loud too long
For
others are watching you.
We
try to hide the bitterness
That
is in our hearts today
But
crying out loud exposes
And
gives your secrets away.
Faking
smiles, so they won't see,
Hearts
are aching in despair.
Don't
cry out loud, when they are near
Or
they'll soon become aware.
They’ll
see the pain hurting so
No
one in whom to confide.
Feeling
you can handle things
By
keeping tears penned inside.
But
crying out to God above,
Asking
for His help today
Can
bring you peace and comfort,
And
take those tears away.
Cry
to Him, loud as you want,
Just
open up your heart and shout.
Cry
to Him, loud as you can,
He
will answer, there’s no doubt.
He
knows all heart and soul
He's
been there so much before.
When
you thought you would drown
It
was He that carried you to shore.
What
a wondrous God we have,
Who
made everything we see
Don’t
cry to all when you’re alone
But
to One, who’ll set you free.
