Thankful for this day as we wake to mornings light

Happy for the moon and stars that shine so big and bright.

All the flowers, grass and trees, that our Loving God created.

Never ending wonder, as on this earth I am elated.

Kind friends that we cherish and in our hearts they stay.

Songs the birds sing to us in a melancholy way.

God and His great wisdom to guide us day and night.

I only need to follow Him, for He’ll lead us by His light.

Voices of little children, happily at play.

It’s music to our ears, when we listen to them pray.

Night, which falls upon us, allowing us to rest.

Giving thanks to Jesus, for He knew what was best.
