Good morning God

It’s so great to see

The heavenly skies

And the beautiful trees.

 

The blossoms in springtime

Such a wondrous sight

The stars in the heavens

That twinkles at night.

 

Good morning God,

I’m so thankful to You

For a brand new day

I can look forward to.

 

The sunshine that peeks

Through my window so bright

The birds that are singing

Such a wondrous delight.

 

Good morning God,

I just want You to know

How thankful I am

And to tell You hello.

 

Forgive me Dear Lord

For not perfect am I

And mistakes that I make

Brings tears to my eye.

 

Good morning God,

How blessed I now feel

To know You Dear Lord

And to know I’ve been healed.

 

So thankful I am

For this brand new day

Please be by my side

May I never go astray.
