I sit here and think about my friends

and the troubles they go through.

May I always encourage them to pray,

and give all their burdens to You.

   

Please give me the words to convey,

as you have taught us to do.

Let me always be a "Giver",

and to my friends may I always be true.

 

Let me listen with an open heart,

when I'm needed in any way.

May I always be forgiving,

and may I do it without delay.

 

Please help me make a difference,

as I walk my path in this life.

May I always be kind and loving,

and never causing others strife.

 

May I always find the words,

to comfort some lost soul.

May I always be a "Giver",

and always let YOU take control.
