There's a place called "Memory Ridge"

that I remember well.

The name fits so perfectly,

for me, it cast a spell.

Memories of a love I found,

so perfect and so pure.

Oh, God, please let it be,

I'll see him there once more.

'Twas there I felt his warm embrace,

so gentle and so kind.

Those memories never will erase,

for they're etched within my mind.

The tree we tied a ribbon to,

remind me once again,

how love developed instantly,

and always will remain.

The beauty of the mountains there,

to God, we felt so near.

We watched the million stars at night,

as soon as they appeared.

I dream about this awesome place,

that only God could make.

Please let this love return to me,

tomorrow, when I awake.
